Serial Cut Fabrication / SCAD

This sculpture was an investigation into laser cutting layers in order to fabricate an organic form. The organic form was designed in Rhino. A Grasshopper script was used to serial cut the form and label the peices. Each piece was laser cut and glued together. After the piece was grinded and sanded smooth, it resembeled the NURBS model origionally designed in Rhino.
